1918 Victor L Lehmann established the company as V. Lehmann Construction Company. He primarily specialized in the construction of schools and churches. Some local projects include the construction of the Traphagen School in Waldwick and the Church of the Good Shepherd in Midland Park.
1955 Victor S Lehmann joined his father’s company after military service during WWII and expanded the construction company to include residential homes. Soon after, the family was asked to build their very first swimming pool. The project was such a huge success athat by 1962 the company was solely dedicated to the construction of swimming pools.
1980 Victor A Lehmann joined his father in the business. He is the current owner, operator and designer. Victor Lehmann dedicated the business to the design and construction of unique in ground, gunite swimming pools as well as spas, water features, ponds and pools houses.
Though the company has been in business for over a century, Lehmann Pools & Spas continually investigates new materials and designs that push the boundaries of what a swimming pool can be. Every pool is imaginatively designed and engineered from scratch so that it fits the distinctive aspects of each individual client’s property.
“We’ve held on to the same key principals which we relied on in 1918,” Victor states, “Treat our customers and employees right; always strive for perfection; and, when building a new customer’s dream backyard, always give them that little bit extra they were not expecting.”
Although a large portion of the business is dedicated to residential needs and services, the company also handles commercial renovations and new projects.
